The Image and The Rose is a high action docu-drama outlining the compelling evidence of the authenticity of the Holy Shroud built into a dramatic two hour feature action film related to the sinister efforts to discredit the Shroud in 1988 and destroy the Cloth by arson in 1997.

In 1988, a small group of scientists attempts to discredit the Shroud through manipulation of testing. In 1997 a group of terrorists attempts unsuccessfully to destroy the Holy Shroud in an arson attempt in the Cathedral in Turin. The Shroud was rescued. Were these actions related?

The movie action follows an Archaeologist (James), an FBI Agent (Rebecca) and a Vatican Archivist (Brother Thomas) working as a Task Force with Turin authorities to thwart the efforts of a terrorist group believed to be in motion to destroy the Cloth in Turin. The terrorists, part of a mercenary team known as the Knights of the Blue Rose, work for a more clandestine group of political activists in Italy with ties to some infiltrators in the Vatican  to support their efforts to overthrow the Italian Government and discredit the Church.

A third group of Art-For-Ransom thieves, unknown to both the Task Force and the Terrorists, is simultaneously attempting to steal the Shroud for ransom. The three groups converge in this fast-paced docu-drama.

Anticipated in Theaters in Fall 2010.
