John C. Iannone -

John C. Iannone is a writer, lecturer and filmmaker in Florida with a production company called NorthStar Production Studios, LLC dedicated to addressing contemporary Christian issues. Over the past 32 years he has worked with members of the multi-denominational Shroud of Turin Research Project who examined the Shroud of Turin scientifically in 1978. Mr. Iannone has studied and written about the authenticity of the Holy Shroud of Turin as the actual burial cloth of Jesus with compelling information on His passion, death and resurrection reflected in the Linen. He writes also on the latest information on the Veil of Veronica and the Sudarium Christi (The Face Cloth in the Tomb).

Mr. Iannone received a Masters in Religious Studies from the Catholic University in Washington and done additional studies at Fordham University Theological and Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He has written three books on the Shroud ( see Bookstore in left column) given over 190 Presentations to Schools, Colleges and Churches of all denominations in the U.S. and Canada; done television programs for EWTN and LATV Public Broadcasting in New Orleans, Catholic Television (Boston) and been invited by Cardinal Giovanni Saldarini (then Papal Custodian of the Holy Shroud) to come to Turin with fellow sindonologists for an extensive viewing of the Shroud in 1998. He re-visited the Holy Shroud in Turin again in April 2010 and was invited to talk on Vatican Radio in Rome on the visit of Pope Benedict to the Holy Shroud in May 2010. He also viewed the Veil of Veronica in Manoppello, Italy.
 
Currently, Mr. Iannone and his staff are engaged in a Lecture Tour (see Lecture Tour) on the authenticity of the Holy Shroud as well as the Sudarium Christi (Face Cloth in the Tomb) and on new, exciting research on the Veronica Veil. This will be both a Presentation and Exhibition (full info on this website). His books include his recently published book;
